Central Plainfield is defined as the 60544 ZIP code and lies primarily south of 135th St and north of Renwick Rd.

Demographic Info:

The central Plainfield area is home to 26,780 residents. There are 9,876 homes with 81.6% of residents owning their own home. The median income is $80,540.

Housing Statistics:

The 12 month rolling average (April 2018 to March 2019) of median prices in central Plainfield is $225,000 for all single family homes (attached and detached) with 118 homes typically on the market at any given time. Home prices have gone up 7.4% over this time frame while the number of homes for sale has increased 5.4%. There have been 562 sales recorded.

Subdivisions:

Arbor Creek is located between Route 30 and Caton Farm Road directly west of the I-55 Frontage Road. The community consists of 114 custom built homes. The average sale price in Arbor Creek is $365,000. Schools for Arbor Creek are River View Elementary, Timber Ridge Middle School and Plainfield Central High School.

Dayfield is located at the northwest corner of 143rd St and Route 30. It’s a community of single family homes with an average sales price of $383,500. Students attend Lincoln, Ira Jones and Plainfield North.

Fairfield Ridge is located west of Van Dyke Rd and north of Lockport St.

Heron View Estates is south of Renwick Rd and west of McClellan.

Hidden River is located south of Fraser Rd and west of The Streams.

Indian Oaks Estates is south of Route 126 along the east side of Indian Boundary Rd.

Liberty Grove is west of Wallin Dr between 143rd St and Lockport St.

Patriot Square is north of Lockport St and west of Van Dyke Rd.

Plainsman Terrace is east of Route 59 and north of Rolf Rd.

The Reserve is located along Route 126 west of I-55.

River Point is west of River Rd, north of Pine Cone Woods Subdivision.

River Ridge Estates is south of 135th St and west of Naperville Rd.

Shadow Wood is located west of Route 59 and north of Spangler Farm Subdivision.

Shores is south of 135th St and east of Naperville Rd.

Spangler Farm is west of Route 59 and north of Renwick Rd.

Spring Hill Estates is south of Route 126 and east of Eastern Ave.

Spring Knoll is east of Eastern Ave and and south of Vintage Knolls

Vintage Knolls is in the 800 block of Eastern Ave.

Wallin Woods is south of Route 126 and west of Van Dyke Rd.

Whispering Creek is located south of Route 126 and west of Indian Boundary Rd.

Winding Creek is south of Route 30 at Spangler Rd.
